FBI, police looking for missing 20-year-old Lumberton woman

The Charlotte Division of the FBI and the Lumberton Police Department in North Carolina are seeking assistance from the public to locate Abby Lynn Patterson. Patterson was last seen on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, around 11:30 a.m. She left her home on East 9th Street in Lumberton, North Carolina, and was seen getting into a brown Buick. Patterson has not been seen since and has not had any contact with family or friends.

FBI officials and police are looking for a 20-year-old woman who went missing in Lumberton in September.

Abby Lynn Patterson, was last seen on Sept. 5, officials said.

Patterson left her home around 11:30 a.m., and was seen getting into a brown Buick, according to the FBI. She has not been seen since and has not had any contact with friends or family.

Patterson is a 5-foot-7 woman with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing brown shorts and a white shirt, officials said. She has a tattoo of a bird on her left shoulder and a birthmark on the back of her left thigh.

Anyone with information about Patterson is asked to call the FBI in Charlotte at 704-672-6100, or the Lumberton Police Department at 910-671-3845. People can also contact the nearest American embassy or consulate.
