Police fear a transgender teen runaway from Dallas, N.C., could be endangered and asked the public on Thursday night for help in finding the 17-year-old.

Julia Faith Dalton ran away from home on Albert Lane on Tuesday, and no one has heard from the teen, Gaston County Police said.

The teen could still be in the area looking for transportation to Oregon, according to police.

Julia identifies as a male and at times refers to himself as Dennis Dalton on social media, police said.

The teen is white, about 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone who knows of Julia’s whereabouts is asked to call Gaston County Police Detective J.P. Brienza at 704-866-3391 or 704-866-3320/3300.
