CMPD recruit class graduation ceremony Friday
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department welcomed 28 new officers at a graduation ceremony Friday morning.
They are being sworn in as part of CMPD’s 169th recruit class. The ceremony started around 10:20 a.m. at the Police Training Academy.
The recruits already have been assigned to various CMPD divisions around the city.
