To show its appreciation to its Dove’s Nest capital campaign donors, Charlotte Rescue Mission will hold an open house celebration at its Dove’s Nest women’s program facility at 2855 West Blvd. from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The west Charlotte site accommodates 120 beds, compared with the previous 12-bed home in Dilworth.

“Many of our capital campaign donors haven’t been to Dove’s Nest since we opened the new facility in 2012, and some of them haven’t been at all,” the Rev. Tony Marciano, mission executive director, said in a news release announcing the open house.“This is a way for them to see what an impact their support has had on so many women and their children.”

Dove’s Nest houses nearly 90 women and children and provides 120 days of comprehensive substance abuse recovery services.
