Police search for 76-year-old Gastonia woman

Gastonia police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 76-year-old woman who is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairment.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Tuesday morning for Lillian Lovenir Guyton.

Guyon is black, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 130 pounds.

She was last seen driving a silver-white 2012 Toyota Yaris with license plate AMV8307.

Anyone with information about Guyton is asked to call police at 704-866-6702.
