A Denver, N.C., man was arrested this week after narcotics investigators found more than a pound-and-a-half of marijuana in his car and home.

Authorities said they were conducting drug-interdiction surveillance in eastern Lincoln County on Monday when they stopped a vehicle driven by Terry Jacob Knox, 26, near the intersection of Optimist Club Road and Oakbrook Lane.

Investigators said they found a pound of marijuana in the car and then a half-pound of the drug at Knox’s home on Brook Path Trail.

Knox was charged with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
