Charlotte weather: Sunny, warmer than normal Tuesday
Tuesday is expected to continue a string of sunny days with highs hitting 80 or above, at least 4 or 5 degrees above normal, according to the National Weather Service.
The mercury could reach 83 Tuesday and 84 Wednesday, then turn just a couple of degrees cooler each day through Saturday in the Charlotte area.
The normal high for May 5 is 76.
The next chance for showers is Thursday and Friday, although the chance stands at only 30 percent each day.
