Charlotte traffic: Wreck closes two I-77 lanes near LaSalle Street
A wreck has closed two of the four lanes on Interstate 77 southbound near LaSalle Street, Exit 12, in Charlotte.
The wreck happened just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The ramp and right and right center lanes are blocked.
Emergency crews, meanwhile, are at a wreck where an entrapment has been reported on West Rocky River Road at North Tryon Street.
The wreck happened about 8:30 a.m. No further details were immediately available.
In other traffic news, the 5700 block of Old Pineville Road between Griffith Street and Grover Road will close at 9 a.m. Tuesday for emergency railroad repairs. The road is scheduled to reopen at 2 p.m.
Motorists should detour using Archdale Drive, South Boulevard and Tyvola Road.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. CATS Route No. 591 will be affected.
