Sunny skies, warm temps to continue in Charlotte

Another warm, sunny day is in store for the Charlotte area, with an expected high of 82 by Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.

The normal high for May 6 is 76.

Highs are forecast to remain in the low 80s through at least Sunday.

Thursday and Friday have only a 20 percent chance of showers, and the chance climbs to only 30 percent Saturday and Sunday, and 40 percent Monday.

Forecasters said it could get even hotter next week, with predicted highs of 84 Monday and 87 Tuesday.
