Wreck involving CATS bus injures 4
Medic took four patients with minor injuries to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville from a wreck involving a CATS bus Friday afternoon.
The wreck happened about 4:15 p.m. at Johnston and North Community House roads, off Interstate 485 in the Ballantyne area of south Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. No further details were immediately available.
Shortly before 5 p.m., at least one person was injured when a car overturned in a wreck on Davidson-Concord Road at Ramah Church Road in Huntersville, police said.
At 5 p.m., a wreck was blocking the left lane of Interstate 77 northbound past W.T. Harris Boulevard Exit 18.
Medic, meanwhile, reported taking one person with potentially life-threatening injuries to Carolinas Medical Center from a wreck at Pineville-Matthews Road and McMullen Creek Parkway.
At 7 p.m., Medic took two patients with potentially life-threatening injuries to CMC-University from a wreck on Nathan Drive, off Old Statesville Road south of W.T. Harris Boulevard. Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Medic reported.
