Motorcycle rider killed in Rock Hill collision
A Pineville, N.C., resident was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on S.C. 5 in Rock Hill, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Information about the motorcyclist was unavailable Saturday evening. The Highway Patrol reported that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The other vehicle involved in the collision was a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Tahoe’s driver, who is from Columbia, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured, according to the Highway Patrol.
