Great weather for Charlotte on Thursday
Low humidity, temperatures in the mid-70s and mostly sunny skies will make for a great day weather-wise in the Charlotte area Thursday.
The expected high of 76 is much lower than the 90 degrees earlier in the week. It’s also 2 degrees lower than the normal high for May 14.
At 6 a.m., humidity stood at a comfortable 58 percent, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
The weekend will grow warmer, with forecast highs of 79 Friday, 82 Saturday and 86 Sunday, with only a slight chance of showers those days.
Monday will shoot even higher, to an expected high near 88, before dropping to 85 Tuesday and 84 Wednesday under mostly sunny skies.
