Beautiful weather for Memorial Day weekend
Milder temperatures are expected to move into the Charlotte region over the next few days, making for what could be a spectacular Memorial Day weekend.
While Wednesday’s high is forecast to hit 88 under sunny skies and Thursday’s high 86, temperatures will drop to a much milder high of 78 Friday, 82 Saturday and 85 Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
Memorial Day could make for another perfect day for cooking out on the grill, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 89 predicted.
The only chance of rain over the next few days comes Wednesday night and Thursday, but even then, the chances are low: a 20 percent chance of isolated showers overnight and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms Thursday.
