Crews rescue employees from flooded north Charlotte business

Crews evacuated five people from a business in north Charlotte after the building flooded Tuesday morning.

Charlotte Fire Department officials responded to the business in the 100 block of Atando Avenue just before noon.

The flooding at the Top Price Recycling building was caused by a nearby creek that had spilled over, officials told Observer news partner WBTV.

There were no injuries, according to fire officials.
