Blue skies expected Friday

Charlotte residents can expect sunny skies Friday as they head into the Memorial Day weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.

Temperatures will reach 76 degrees before tailing off to about 57 degrees Friday night.

The sun is expected to hang around all weekend, with temperatures climbing into the low 80s Saturday and Sunday.
