If you are traveling in uptown Friday, expect traffic delays due to several street closures for Speed Street, which continues through Saturday. The following streets are closed:

▪ Tryon Street, from Stonewall to Trade streets.

▪ Parts of Brevard Street.

▪ Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Third Street and Fourth Street near Tryon.

To ease traffic, Lynx trains will run every 10 minutes on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Saturday. That’s up from every 20 minutes during off-peak times.

Some bus routes will be affected by street closures. Check ridetransit.org for details.
