CMPD issues nearly 300 citations during first week of ‘Click it or Ticket’ campaign

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police issued 164 citations for seat belt/child seat violations and 286 total charges at five locations citywide in the first week of the two-week Governor’s Highway Safety Program’s “Click it or Ticket” campaign, Sgt. David Sloan said. The campaign ends May 31. Joe Marusak
