Two people were killed in a crash Sunday morning near Billy Graham Parkway.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Tryon Street, where Billy Graham Parkway turns into Woodlawn Road.
According to investigators, a Ford Econoline van sped through a red light on West Woodlawn Road and crashed into a Ford Mustang in the intersection. The van then veered and collided with a Lincoln Aviator, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The van and Aviator rolled on their sides before coming to a rest. Both people in the Aviator — 67-year-old Sylvia Long and 67-year-old Simmie Long — died at the scene, according to Medic.

The driver and passenger of the van were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with critical injuries, according to police. The driver of the Mustang was hospitalized as well with serious injuries.
Amber Ann Marie Frazier, the 33-year-old driver of the van, is expected to be charged once she is released from the hospital. Frazier is facing charges of reckless driving as well as two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
