Charlotte traffic: Lane blocked on I-85 ramp to I-77
A disabled tractor-trailer has closed the right lane on the Interstate 85 southbound ramp onto I-77 in Charlotte Tuesday morning.
It could take until 8:50 a.m. to clear the scene, state highway officials said.
Earlier Tuesday, a wreck closed three of the four lanes on Interstate 85 southbound near the Belmont-Mount Holly exit in Gaston County.
The wreck happened about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday near Exit 27, N.C. 273, state highway officials said.
A fatal wreck, meanwhile, closed the westbound lanes of East Mallard Creek Church Road north of UNC Charlotte on Tuesday morning. The wreck happened at 2:50 a.m.
