Charlotte weather: Chance of rain still slim
The Charlotte area is expected to continue its month-long streak of little or no rain on Tuesday, with only a 20 percent chance of precipitation in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
The chance remains, however, for scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop late in the afternoon, and the chance will persist most of the workweek thanks to a Bermuda High pattern across the Southeast.
The chances of precipitation are forecast to rise to 40 percent Tuesday night, 50 percent Wednesday and 40 percent Thursday.
Tuesday’s high, meanwhile, could reach 85 degrees, with higher humidity than last week’s comfortable levels. Temperatures will stay in the low to mid-80s through the workweek.
