Davidson College to conduct emergency exercise Thursday

Davidson College on Thursday will conduct a full-scale campus emergency exercise with Davidson police and four area fire departments.

The event will be on the main campus, and the college asks the public to avoid the area as much as possible from 9 a.m. to noon.

The exercise will include emergency vehicles, equipment and personnel and is part of regular emergency preparedness activities the college performs every year, spokesman Bill Giduz said.
