Police seek help identifying robbery suspect
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect who hit the victim with a baseball bat.
On Saturday, May 27, at approximately 12:15 p.m., North Tryon Division patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Cinderella Road in reference to an armed robbery from a person. On arrival, the victim told police that a man struck him with a bat, took his property and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a dark-complexioned black male, approximately 5-feet-7, with short hair, a small goatee and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with a design on the front and blue jeans.
