Lincoln Co. deputies need help finding missing teen

Authorities in Lincoln County are asking for the public’s help in finding a teen who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Vanessa Marie Pelayo, 15, was last seen in the 600 block of South N.C. 16 and is considered a runaway, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office news release. She is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs about 185 pounds.

She sports shoulder-length red hair.
