Update: See if North Carolina’s COVID-19 curve is flattening

COIVID-19 has infected more than 12,500 North Carolinians as of Tuesday.

Like neighboring states, North Carolina confirms hundreds of new coronavirus cases daily. But it has fewer cases per capita than Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Deaths attributed to COVID-19 have also increased in North Carolina.

But, even though North Carolina has a larger population than Virginia, it has fewer cases and deaths than it.

Mecklenburg County leads the state with 57 deaths.
