Is your lotto ticket a million dollar prize? Where the lucky winner shopped:

A lottery ticket with a more than $1.1 million prize was sold in Gaston County, North Carolina lottery officials announced.

The winner, who has not been identified, bought the Carolina Cash 5 game ticket at Lee’s Quick Stop on North Main Street in Mount Holly.

The winning numbers —14-15-28-31-40 — beat the 1 in 962,598 odds to match all five numbers in the Friday drawing, N.C. Education Lottery officials said. The jackpot total was $1,127,585.

Carolina Cash 5 tickets are $1 and have nightly drawings. Monday’s jackpot is $120,000.

This is just the latest of several winners from the Charlotte area. Earlier this month, a Matthews man won $1 million on the North Carolina Mega Millions game, while a college student and Charlotte native in March won $25,000 annually in the Lucky for Life drawing.
