Which NC businesses applied for PPP loans amid COVID? Search our database to find out.

Since early April, the U.S. Small Business Administration guaranteed nearly 122,000 loans to North Carolina companies hoping to save jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Paycheck Protection Program loans, which ranged from less than $100 to more than $5 million, retained more than 1.2 million jobs, according to the data.

The U.S. SBA does not make public the names of companies that applied for loans of less than $150,000 during the novel coronavirus pandemic. It does, however, list the names of some 16,000 North Carolina businesses that applied for PPP loans of more than $150,000.

Those companies include Johnson C. Smith University, OrthoCarolina, Elevation Church and Raleigh student housing developer DP Preiss, to name a few.

Search the data below for the other companies applying for loans.
