CMPD hosting child seat safety check Friday

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are hosting a child seat safety check Friday morning at Harding High.

The event runs from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the high school, 2001 Alleghany St., Charlotte.

CMPD holds these clinics on the third Friday of every other month. No appointment is needed, and technicians typically spend at least 20 minutes with people, CMPD said.
