Charlotte traffic: Major delays on I-485 Outer Loop near Matthews

A wreck is causing major delays on the Interstate 485 Outer Loop near Matthews Friday afternoon, state highway officials said.

The wreck happened about 4:10 p.m. at mile marker 49.

A wreck also is causing delays on Interstate 85 southbound in Belmont.

Another wreck is blocking the left lane on I-77 northbound at Exit 42 in Troutman.
