The heat streak in Charlotte looks to continue through at least Friday, with highs forecast in the mid- to upper 90s.
But the 10-day forecast shows that highs could fall into the low 90s or upper 80s by the weekend, according to The Weather Channel.
Monday’s forecast calls for it to be 98 and sunny until the evening, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms expected before 9 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The evening is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low of 75 overnight.
The upcoming week has similar projections, with temperatures expected to hover in the upper 90s and a chance of thunderstorms in the evenings.
