It’s Girl Scout cookie season. Here’s how to find sales in Charlotte or order online
The holiday season may be over, but for some, the most wonderful time of the year is just getting started.
The Girl Scouts have officially kicked off cookie season for 2022, complete with options for online sales and delivery and a new cookie.
Here’s how to find Girl Scout cookies in the Charlotte area and what cookies are for sale this year:
Where to get Girl Scout cookies in Charlotte
Finding a cookie booth in the Charlotte area is as easy as going online, sending a text or opening an app.
You can enter your ZIP code on the “Cookie Finder” at girlscouts.org/en/cookies/how-to-buy-cookies to pull up all the booths happening near you. There’s also an app version you can download for finding cookies while you’re out and about.
And you can text COOKIES to 59618 to get information on cookie sales sent straight to your phone.
After shifting to more digital options and “drive-thru” booths amid COVID-19, “councils are monitoring local data and mandates” as they make their 2022 plans, so that may impact when and where in-person sales are happening.
How to order Girl Scout cookies online
Many Girl Scouts also sell cookies through the organization’s “Digital Cookie” platform, which allows you to place an order online. If you know a Girl Scout, you can ask them for the link to their sales page to order directly from them.
Online orders also give you the option to participate in “Cookies for a Cause,” which donates cookies to military members, food banks and more.
How to get Girl Scout cookies delivered on-demand
Soon, you’ll also have the option to get Girl Scout cookies delivered right to your front door.
The organization has announced a partnership with the delivery service DoorDash to make delivery “available nationwide” by February. DoorDash orders will give you the choice “to purchase cookies for on-demand delivery or for pickup at a nearby booth.”
If you order on DoorDash’s website or app, “all proceeds” will still “benefit Girl Scout troops and the local councils.”

There’s a new cookie on the block this Girl Scout cookie season: Adventurefuls. These latest additions are “indulgent brownie-inspired cookies topped with caramel flavored crème with a hint of sea salt.”
If you’re a traditionalist, you can still indulge in the classics, including Thin Mints, Tagalongs (AKA Peanut Butter Patties) and Samoas (AKA Caramel deLites).
The rest of the 2022 lineup is made up of Do-si-dos (AKA Peanut Butter Sandwiches), Girl Scout S’mores, Lemonades (AKA Lemon-Ups), Shortbread (AKA Trefoils), and Toffee-Tastic.
