How to create your own Charlotte skyline photo magic
Charlotte Observer photographer Alex Slitz caught an amazing picture this week of what appeared to be the Charlotte skyline reflected in a lake. How?
In the video above, Slitz talks about ways to incorporate objects, angles and time of the day to make your image stand out. In this one, the skyline is obscured and reflected in a puddle on the edge of a shopping center’s parking garage.
Says Slitz: “As a new transplant into Charlotte, I am actively seeking out new and interesting views of all communities. This is a project I hope to continue during my time in the Queen City.”
Technical settings for the image are: 40mm focal length, ISO 2000 with a shutter speed of 1/13th of a second and an aperture of f2.8.
