Which outdoor pools in Charlotte are open for the summer season? Find out here
Wednesday is the last day of school for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students, which means it’s the perfect time for you and your family to enjoy warm weather by the pool.
Most neighborhood pools open on or around Memorial Day weekend, while Mecklenburg County-operated pools begin their weekday schedule later this month.
Here’s which pools are open for the season in the Charlotte area.
Public Pools
According to the Mecklenburg County website, Cordelia Pool and Double Oaks Family Aquatic Center are both open on weekends.
Starting June 13, both pools will be open on weekdays. Here are the hours for each one:
Double Oaks: 12-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Cordelia: 12-6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Tickets are $2 per person and admission is first-come, first-served.
YMCA Pools
The outdoor pool at the Harris YMCA is open for the season.
Outdoor water parks at the Brace Family and Keith Family YMCA locations will open on June 13.
