Do firefighters still rescue kittens? Of course they do
A kitten is looking for a home after Lincolnton firefighters rescued it from a storm drain this week.
Responding to a call of an animal needing rescue, firefighters from Lincolnton engines 2A and 1A freed the kitten from the storm drain in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy.
A CVS employee arranged for a temporary home for the kitten, but it now needs a permanent one.
Anyone interested in providing that home is asked to email Laura Wease Hester at jingle_bells_kitty@hotmail.com.
