Officers still investigating fatal Union County wreck

The Highway Patrol on Sunday was still investigating an accident that took the life of a 16-year-old Union County girl.

Autumn Plyler died late Saturday when the SUV in which she was a passenger hit a tree on Lancaster Highway. Troopers said she was in the back seat, not wearing a seat belt. Six other people in the car were injured.

Troopers charged Kemthia Garlins with driving while impaired. Jim Morrill
