Charlotte traffic: Mint Street closed at Bank of America Stadium

The block of Mint Street in front of Bank of America Stadium has been closed all morning and will remain barricaded all day and evening, as the stadium hosts two CONCACAF Gold Cup matches.

The closure is creating heavy traffic backups on Mint.

Cuba and Guatemala play at 6 p.m., followed by Mexico vs. Trinidad and Tobago at 8:30 p.m.

Shortly before 9 a.m., a tractor-trailer fire was reported on the Interstate 85 ramp to Graham Street Exit 4.

A wreck at 8:50 a.m. closed the left lane of Interstate 77 northbound near Tyvola Road.

Ten minutes earlier, a wreck closed the left ramp lane from the Interstate 277 Inner Loop to Exit 1E.

At 8:30 a.m., a disabled tractor trailer was partially blocking the right lane of northbound Interstate 77 near Exit 30 in Davidson.
