Eight people were injured after multiple cars crashed in east Charlotte on Tuesday afternoon, according to paramedics.
Two were seriously injured and six were being treated for minor injuries after the crash, which happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of East W.T. Harris Boulevard at Linda Lake Drive.
Observer news partner WSOC-TV reported that southbound lanes of W. T. Harris Boulevard were closed.
