If you’re planning to fly into or out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport next week, you could have the chance to meet NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Global restaurateur HMSHost is hosting a meet-and-greet at the airport with Earnhardt, whose resume features 26 career victories, including the 2004 and 2014 Daytona 500s, at Dale Jr.’s Whisky River, on Oct. 5 from 10:30 a.m.-noon.

Fans will have the opportunity to take a picture with the racing champion, sample food from the restaurant’s menu and enjoy live performances.

The first 75 fans will get a signed copy of Earnhardt’s book, “Racing to the Finish: My Story,” or his new children’s book, “Buster Gets Back on Track.”

The restaurant is located at Concourse E Rotunda, near Gate E20.
