The winner remained a mystery as no one immediately claimed the prize, N.C. lottery officials said Saturday.

“Check your tickets!” the lottery posted on X, the online platform formerly known as Twitter.

The ticket was sold at Sumner Food Mart and Hardware on Old Randleman Road in Greensboro, according to the lottery.

The winner beat odds of 1 in 12.6 million, according to the Mega Millions page on NC Lottery.com.

The party has six months to claim the prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
