A Charlotte man was undergoing surgery Friday evening after he was shot once in east Charlotte and rushed to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Police were unable to interview the victim and said details on the shooting are still sketchy.
The shooting took place in the 7100 block of Barrington Drive, police say. The victim’s name wasn’t released by late Friday and no one had been arrested for the shooting.
