Three taken to S.C. hospital after drive-by shooting in Lancaster

Lancaster, S.C., police are looking for a gunman who opened fired on a home early Saturday, seriously wounding three people in an apparent drive-by shooting.

The shooting took place about 12:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Louise Street, police said. Witnesses told police that a compact gray or silver car – possibly a Honda – drove slowly by the home and opened fire.

Rescuers took the victims to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Police didn’t know a motive for the shooting.
