The Charlotte Observer’s “Coffee with a Reporter,” series is taking the conversation uptown to the city’s Third Ward.

Our next stop is at Community Matters Cafe, at 821 W. 1st St., and will feature Business Reporter Chase Jordan.

At this free event, engage in a friendly conversation with our journalists and what they cover. We want to share more about who we are, what we do and learn more about our readers.

We extend our thanks to Community Matters Cafe for hosting us.

Check out the cafe’s website to see what is happening there, but more importantly, drop by and say hi. And there’s plenty of on site parking.

See you there!

WHAT: “Coffee with a Reporter”

WHEN: 8 - 10 a.m., Fri., July 12

WHERE: Community Matters Cafe, 821 W. 1st St.
