Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop in the Charlotte region Tuesday afternoon and evening, with lightning and gusty winds accompanying some of the storms, according to the National Weather Service.
The chance of isolated storms will continue each afternoon through the weekend, and the weather will otherwise remain humid – a typical pattern for this time of year.
A high of 92 is expected Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before the highs are forecast to dip to 89 under partly sunny skies Friday, 90 Saturday and a far more comfortable 86 Sunday and 88 Monday.
