Early voting began last week and has had record turnout, with hundreds of thousands of people who already have cast ballots.

Considering it’s roughly two weeks until Nov. 5 and what many are saying is the most important election in U. S. history, we are featuring Local News Editor Josh Bergeron, at our next “Coffee with a Reporter” event.

It will take place at Enderly Coffee on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The shop is located at 2620 Tuckaseegee Rd.

Josh oversees the team covering local government and politics in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.

At this free event, engage in a friendly conversation with our journalists and what they cover. We want to share more about who we are, what we do and learn more about our readers.

We extend our thanks to the team at Enderly Coffee for hosting us.

Check out the shop’s website to see what is happening there, but more importantly, drop by and say hi. And there’s plenty of on site parking.

See you there!
