• Food Lion: All locations are open, but closing times vary. Check when the store nearest you closes at stores.foodlion.com/nc.

• Harris Teeter: Locations close at 2 p.m.

• Lowes Foods: Stores close at 4 p.m.

• Sprouts Farmers Market: Open 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

• The Fresh Market: Open 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Whole Foods Market: Open 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Are pharmacies open on Thanksgiving?

• Some CVS pharmacies are open on Thanksgiving. Check if the location nearest you is open at cvs.com.

• Walgreens will close most locations except for 500 locations open 24 hours (300 of them are pharmacies), the company announced in a September press release. There are 24-hour locations in Charlotte, Monroe and Mooresville.
