1 person injured in near-drowning incident in Charlotte

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg emergency medical team responded to a report of a drowning late Saturday afternoon in the 7100 block of Providence Square Drive. WBTV, The Observer’s news partner, reported that the incident occurred near the Crest on Providence apartment complex.

One person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
