Private tennis coach charged in sex assaults of girl he instructed, NC sheriff says
A private tennis coach was charged recently with sex offenses against a girl he was instructing, Union County sheriff’s investigators said Friday night.
The arrest of 47-year-old Timi Kano Solomon followed an extensive investigation after the girl “came forward” and told investigators about the alleged assaults, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Sheriff’s detectives arrested Solomon on charges of statutory sexual offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child, according to the news release.
Solomon posted a $100,000 secured bond and is free pending further court action. He couldn’t be reached by The Charlotte Observer Saturday night.
Investigators urged anyone with information about the case to call the sheriff’s office at (704) 283-3789 or submit a tip on the sheriff’s office website or smartphone app.
