Person hit by CATS train has life-threatening injuries, MEDIC says. Police close roads.
A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a CATS light rail train on Saturday, MEDIC said.
Police closed the intersection of South Boulevard and Remount Road to investigate the collision, which happened around 11:15 a.m.
“Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes,” the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said on social media.
