A crash closed Interstate 85 northbound lanes near Concord Mills mall and Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, state highway officials said.

“Expected impact to traffic is High,” according to an alert on NCDrive.gov, the state’s real-time traffic map.

The right three lanes were closed at Exit 49, Bruton Smith Boulevard/Concord Mills Boulevard, officials said.

The wreck happened just after 1:30 p.m.. No details were immediately available.

The lanes opened by about 3:30 p.m., according to the N..C. Department of Transportation.
