Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center renovations on course

Crews this week demolished interior fixtures and equipment as part of an $8.6 million renovation of the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center. Work began in June and is on schedule to be finished within one year, according to project superintendent Billy Hulsen of Balfour Beatty, the general contractor. Renovations include new locker rooms and fitness area, expanded seating and new pool mechanics. Doug Miller
