Iredell detectives find human remains behind home near Statesville
Detectives identified skeletonized human remains Wednesday behind a residence west of Statesville.
The person had been deceased for a while, according to a news release from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives located the remains at 2336 Newton Drive, and an autopsy and medical examination were scheduled.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
